Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, millions of people have been forced to flee their country, seeking safety and stability across Europe. Among the many challenges they face, access to education and lifelong learning opportunities is one of the most critical for successful social inclusion, employability and long-term integration.
Grassroots professionals and volunteers play a key role in supporting Ukrainian refugees on the ground. However, they often lack structured guidance, tailored resources and practical tools to respond effectively to diverse educational backgrounds, language barriers and complex personal situations.
EDUMENTORS4U is an Erasmus+ project that aims to strengthen mentoring practices for lifelong learning and education by equipping grassroots professionals and volunteers with high-quality resources, training guidelines and practical tools.
The project focuses on mentoring as a key mechanism to support educational orientation, skills development and access to learning pathways for Ukrainian refugees in formal, non-formal and informal learning contexts. EDUMENTORS4U promotes a European, inclusive and practice-oriented approach, combining research, capacity building and field-tested solutions.
